About Sam Torbett Photography

                  Photography is the second best thing. The first is living in the moment yourself and soaking every second of it, but nothing lasts forever. Photography helps us re-live these memories we had by showing us exactly what it was like. Even though the moment cannot be re-created just like that, a picture can almost do it justice. 

 

                 I love to travel everywhere and stop and smell the roses along the way. My photography helps me remember all of my travels, and I love sharing my experiences with everybody. I'm into nature and architecture photography. I like to take pictures of big cities, to small ghost-towns. My favorite is the nature part - cascading mountains and thundering waterfalls.

                  I am working on two books right now. They are the 50 State Capitols and the 114 Missouri Courthouses. I have no idea when those will be done, but keep your eyes out...
